Please consider having your Vitamin D levels checked. The correct test to ask for is 25-hydroxy-vitamin D (25 OH vitamin D). It appears the most current thinking is to have an optimal Vitamin D level at 50-70ng/ml, and that the number should not drop below 32 ng/ml. Be aware also that preexisting medical conditions may influence and determine one’s optimal ideal range.
