It’s that time again! We are moving closer to the Twin Cities ‘Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk’ which takes place in September. As some of you know this is a cause very near & dear to our family/friends as we lost my wife’s brother Ben to suicide in May of 2012 at the age of 24. Our TEAM BEN is gearing up and researching ways to raise money and exceed our last years goal. My wife & I decided to make up some shirt and sticker designs (with more to come) and loaded them up to the RedBubble site. Redbubble also handled some of the Tell Em Steve-Dave fundraiser shirts that we did for NDSS.

If you don’t want to buy a shirt or sticker, but do want to donate at: http://afsp.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=63327

FACT: Suicide claims more than 38,000 lives each year in the United States alone, with someone dying by suicide every 13.7 minutes. A suicide attempt is made every minute of every day, resulting in nearly one million attempts made annually. By donating you join efforts with thousands of people nationwide to raise money for AFSP’s vital research and education programs to prevent suicide and save lives.
