During the scene where the Cowardly Lion jumps through a window, Judy Garland repeatedly broke into genuine laughter. Bert Lahr’s exaggerated movements and comedic timing made it difficult for her to stay in character. The final cut includes one of her real giggles, adding a spontaneous charm to the moment.
